Statistics Unit

  1. Entering TSIM data between the first and tenth day of each month.
  2. Entering monthly laboratory test volumes into the Ministry of Health system.
  3. Reporting HIV case numbers based on hospital information system queries.
  4. Reporting parasitic disease case numbers based on hospital information system queries.
  5. Preparing monthly outpatient, inpatient, surgical and related statistics.
  6. Reporting poisoning cases.
  7. Reporting Group D infectious diseases.
  8. Reviewing infectious disease records and reporting them to the Provincial Health Directorate.
  9. Monitoring bed capacity and entering the data into TSIM.
  10. Entering intensive care data into the Ministry of Health system.
  11. Preparing briefing reports for the Rectorate’s Corporate Communications Unit.
  12. Preparing and submitting the directorate’s annual activity report to the Rectorate.
  13. Preparing the hospital activity report for the Quality Unit.

  22. Preparing institutional healthcare indicators and healthcare assessment data.
  23. Preparing data requested as part of tuberculosis and infectious disease coordination.
  24. Preparing statistical data requested by academic staff.
  25. Providing statistical information requested by hospital departments.
