INFECTION CONTROL COMMITTEE
In these five cases, keep your hands clean.

What are the duties of the Infection Control Committee, and why is it important?
In our hospital, the Infection Control Committee conducts procedures for patients, staff and visitors to take the necessary measures, develop recommendations, identify problems and provide training in order to prevent healthcare-related infections in a cost-effective manner.
Our hospital has had an official infection control committee since 2000. The first infection control activities began in 1994, and since that date, an infection control nurse has been assigned to our hospital. Since its inception, at least one, at least three committee nurses have served full-time since 2004. Five Infection Control Nurses are currently on duty and have the Ministry of Health's Certificate of Infection Control Nurses.
The Committee for Control of Infections shall continue its activities in accordance with the Infection Control Regulations of Bed Treatment Institutions No. 25903 dated 11.08.2005.
