The opening of the modern endoscopic room was held by the philanthropist Safa Kısacık on behalf of the late Naile Kısacık and the late Huseyin Kısacık.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Nusret Akpolat, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Professor Dr. Mehmet Aslan, Surgeon General of the Turgut Ozal Medical Center Professor Dr. Erol Karaaslan, Chairman of the Department of Gastroenterology High Elect, philanthropist Safa Kurakshik and his family, as well as academics and hospital staff, attended.

Speaking at the opening ceremony , the head of the Department of Gastroenterology , Professor Dr. He shared important information about the clinic's technical capacity and the work being carried out. Seçkin said that the Gastroenterology clinic is a very large center with a capacity of about 50 beds, 4 polyclinics, 1 endoscopic unit and 2 ERCP units, and that they are one of the rare clinics in Turkey that can perform advanced endoscopic procedures.
Selekin said that about 10,000 endoscopic and colonoscopic procedures were performed in the clinic, and about 6,500 of these procedures were endoscopic, and 4,000 were colonoscopic, and 90-95 percent of these procedures were performed under anesthesia.
Seçkin noted that about 2,000 ERCP procedures were performed at the clinic, of which about 1,200 to 300,000 were used to treat post-transplant disorders of organ transplant patients. He added that the donated advanced technology device will be best protected and put to the service of patients, not only in Malatya and the region but also in all Turkey and abroad.
"This donation will heal thousands of patients"
Dr. Turgut Ozal Medical Center Chief Physician Erol Karaaslan said that this meaningful donation will not only revive the memory of the deceased, but also open the door to thousands of patients. I also appeal to the benevolent citizens of Karaaslan, Malatya, that the donations will strengthen our hospital and give hope to many of our citizens who are recovering. I invite all our nurses to be sensitive about this.

The Rector of the University of Innu, Professor Dr. Nusret Akpolat also mentioned the importance of charity in his speech. Rector Akpolat thanked his family briefly, using the following words in his speech:
I'd like to begin by thanking Mr. Safa and his entire family. It's not something that can be expressed in just two short sentences, like the contribution of an endoscopic unit. It's not every parent's expense to be charitable. In this sense, I congratulate this family for its achievements and for its great volunteerism in this sense, and I wish their numbers to increase and be an example to all, as our chief physician has said.

Turgut Ozal Medical Center health workers showed close interest in treatment
The granddaughter of the late Naile Kısacık and the late Hussain Kısacık, Safa Kısacık, said that her late grandmother, Naile Kısacık, was always a great Malatya lover, even though all family members lived in Istanbul. We thank our teacher Furkan and all the staff of the medical center who took a close interest in her health during her treatment here.
