The Burn Center is located on level B1 of the main hospital. It operates within the hospital's medical and administrative structure while remaining physically controlled and isolated to support infection prevention.
The center provides the full continuum of burn care, from initial shock treatment and intensive care to surgery, wound care and rehabilitation. It has HEPA-filtered automated climate control, monitored entrances and dedicated sterile areas, including an operating room, hydrotherapy unit and dressing rooms.
Capacity and Care
The pediatric burn service includes 12 pediatric burn intensive-care beds and forms part of a 25-bed pediatric burn capacity. Treatment is delivered by a multidisciplinary team using age-appropriate monitoring, respiratory support, wound-care and rehabilitation equipment.
