Medical successes from Malatya to the world: Brain bubble treatment made live

Malatya marked the international meeting of neuroradiology in Istanbul, where a team from the Faculty of Medicine of the Inonu University intervene in an emergency brain hemorrhage while conducting brain bubble treatment live.

Between September 1721 and September 1721 in Istanbul, the team of Malatya marked a meeting entitled "Connecting Books and Uniting Cultures" organized jointly by the Asian and European Societies of Neuroradiology and the Turkish Society of Neuroradiology.

During the meeting, Professor Dr. Ismail Okan Yıldırım and Associate Professor Dr. The team led by Ahmet Turan Kaya conducted the treatment of the brain bubble in a closed method. Associate professor of neurosurgery at the Department of Neuroscience, Dr. The operation, which also involved Bora Tetikin, was followed with interest by scientists from different countries of the world.

The post-operative evaluation was carried out by Professor Dr. We have once again had the opportunity to highlight and demonstrate the increasing achievements and importance of lightning, Turkish science and Turkish medicine in recent years in the international arena. Especially in the field of entrepreneurial neuroradiology, we have very valuable Turkish teachers who are leading the world and it has been a great joy and pride for us to perform our surgery live in front of these prayerful teachers. This success is not only ours, but also the success of Malatya and our university, who are trying to heal the wounds after the earthquake.

Yildirim, who reported that a brain hemorrhage occurred at the same time during the operation, said the team split in two and managed both cases simultaneously. In those moments, I was directing the patient on the live stream, and I was following the second surgery with cameras. He said it was one of the hardest days of my career.

While both patients are reported to be recovered, Professor Dr. Lightning said that the success achieved was possible thanks to strong infrastructure and teamwork. Nusret Akpolat and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Professor Dr. Mehmet Aslan thanked him for his support.
