Ghana Tamale Teaching Hospital Administrators Visited Our Hospital

A cooperation protocol covering academic and clinical fields was signed between Inonu University and Tamale Teaching Hospital, one of the main healthcare institutions in Ghana.

General Director of Tamale Teaching Hospital, Dr. Abubakari Bawah Abdulai, Director of Medical Affairs Prof. Alhassan Abdul-Mumin, Director of Administrative Affairs Dr. Emmanuel Sena Kwesi Donkor, Deputy Director of Financial Affairs Fuseini Issah and Surgical Anabiology Branch President Professor Dr.Adamu Issaka, visited our hospital before the protocol signing ceremony and held a meeting with presentations introducing the mutual hospitals in general medicine. The committee then visited and inspected our medical treatment units.

The protocol signed between Inonu University and Tamale Teaching Hospital, which operates in the north of Ghana, includes a structured partnership in multiple areas, including medical education, research and publishing and clinical practice.

During the visit, joint research projects, academic and student exchange programs and curriculum alignment in medical education were agreed.
