Benevolent Donations to the Pediatric Service of the Turgut Ozal Medical Center

In the Pediatric Service of Turgut Ozal Medical Center of Inonu University, two new rooms were opened with the contributions of the families of the benefactors Tekedereli and Maraş.

The opening ceremony was attended by Dr. Erol Karaaslan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Professor Dr. Mehmet Aslan, Chairman of the Department of Child Health and Diseases, Professor Dr. Özlem Elkıran and assistant chief physician, pediatric service personnel, philanthropic families and patients attended.

In the opening program, the deceased Omar Faruk was honored by his brother M. Aaron and E. The opening ceremony of the "Activity Room" built by Shuayip Tekedereli and the "Patient Room and Recreation" built by his children in the name of the deceased Husayn Maraş was held.

Professor Dr. Özlem Elkıran emphasized in his opening speech that donations are not only physical spaces, but also important contributions that will boost the morale and motivation of children's patients in the treatment process, adding smiles to their faces.

Professor Dr. Erol Karaaslan said that the children who were treated with refurbished play and entertainment rooms were able to play and receive treatment in a more comfortable environment. Thanks to these wonderful donations, our children who are being treated will be able to play and receive treatment in a more comfortable environment. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Dr. Mehmet Aslan said that he believed that the contributions made by their families to the saint's memory would be accepted by God and congratulated the families who contributed. Professor Dr. Lion stressed that he believes that these rooms will reach the patients who will be cured, but also that these spaces for children to use in social activities will also provide opportunities for good moments.

Omar Faruk Tekedereli's brother, in his opening speech, thanked the chief physician, the head of the department of anabiology and the entire team, who contributed to the preparation of the room. Fatma İlknur Varola also expressed her gratitude. Tekedereli said the room was designed to bring the memory of the deceased to life and benefit the children.

His son, who spoke about the room being refurbished for Marash, recalled that his father had been a teacher for many years, saying that he wanted to remember his childhood love and work in this way.

At the end of the program, the Chief Physician of Turgut Ozal Medical Center Associate Professor Dr. Erol Karaaslan and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Professor Dr. Mehmet Aslan thanked the families of Tekedereli and Maraş and the opening ceremony ended with a piece of cake.
