Purpose of the R&D unit
The aim is to promote scientific and technological progress of Turgut Ozal Medical Center of Inonu University, support innovation and contribute to the development of new knowledge or products.

The purpose of the R&D unit is to operate in accordance with the strategic objectives set by the organization and to support the development of new knowledge, products or processes.

- Drug R&D center (cancer vaccine, corona virus vaccine, immune system boosting formulas, etc.)
- Research and development center for traditional medicine (medical plants and functions).
- Establishment of special health-related research and practice centres.
- Centre for the manufacture and development of medical devices (MR, CT, diagnostic devices, etc.).
- Centres for research, development and implementation of services/support systems for the health sector.
- Centers for research, development and implementation of digital health systems (e-hospital, e-clinic, Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0).
- The application of artificial intelligence in the healthcare industry.
- To ensure the transformation of the existing lighting system in the hospital into LED lighting system.
